I have built in pause time into my diary and mobile phone. I listen to classical music as I type/write my responses. I find that this is helping me to hone my reflective skills. I also find that taking time out for me better prepares me to be more compassionate to other people.

This ‘pause space’ or mini meditation is a powerful tool. Allowing the mind to fall still is as important as stepping away from a computer screen. I found doing both to be regenerative and probably better for me than additional caffeine.
The concept of the pause space is so ideal in the current climate we find ourselves. It is even more beautiful with different ones that can be adapted to suit each person.
