Financial Wellbeing: Hidden figures – Talking about money in difficult circumstances for all NHS staff

This session is open to all our NHS people to support you personally, and to help you to support others to manage their finances more effectively. This event is delivered in partnership with the Money Advice Service.
What this session will cover:
Throughout our lives we will have lots of money conversations with different people and some will be difficult. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the economy in different ways which has seen changes in the mental health of our population, a rise in online gambling and increased domestic abuse.
This session will help you develop your own understanding and take action on issues that can cause financial difficulties – dealing with a life event such as a sudden bereavement, discovering hidden debts and habits, coping with money anxiety and dealing with financial abuse. You will find out how to support colleagues effectively, where you can turn to for help and support, and identify something that will help you or someone you know take positive steps forward in this challenging time.
